Industry News: Talend Acquires Gamma Soft

Talend have announced an acquisition of Gamma Soft, a market leader in real-time Change Data Capture (CDC).

As an enterprise-level CDC vendor, the addition of Gamma Soft to Talend’s product offerings will allow them to deepen their existing real-time data exchange and integration capabilities.

The acquisition also helps broaden Talend functionality through:

Helping organisations to modernize legacy systems by migrating to a cloud architecture
Enterprise-level replication technologies, including bi-directional and broadcast
Additional integration options in real-time data replication

These new functionalities will help streamline customer data modernization efforts, such as cloud migrations, and support real-time analytics across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Gamma Soft allows organisations to replicate changed data in real-time direct from their database, data warehouse and data lake sources. By forgoing the need to extract an entire data set, companies can be more agile with their data.

While Gamma Soft capabilities will continue to be offered as a standalone product, together Talend and Gamma Soft offer a complete end-to-end solution for customers, enabling extensive data integration capabilities and the ability to form valuable business insights from fast-changing data.
