Mar 29, 2020 12:00:00 AM

OSS Group Limited has become the first New Zealand partner of Dataiku, one of the world's leading Enterprise AI and machine learning platforms, adding further capabilities to its established data & integration practice.

Ian Soffe, Managing Director of OSS Group – "At OSS Group, we are always looking at how we can enable local organisations to realise business advantage by applying innovative next-generation technology solutions. We are excited about the possibilities that machine learning and AI will enable our clients and to add the capabilities of Dataiku to our data, machine learning and AI business."

Simon King, Head of Data and Software at OSS Group, sees data science, machine learning and AI as drivers of growth across a range of industry sectors in New Zealand. "Challenges to wider AI adoption include the scarcity of specialist data science resources and the perceived complexity in creating and taking AI solutions into production. Dataiku solves these challenges, providing a platform approach that enables organisations to easily get started with building Enterprise AI models while retaining a flexible deployment strategy that fits our open standards approach. Dataiku is an excellent fit for New Zealand organisations, and we are delighted to be Dataiku's first New Zealand partner."

Jiunn Hao Choo, Channels and Alliances Manager, Asia at Dataiku – says - "OSS Group brings extensive data, machine learning and AI capabilities, a premier customer base with local market knowledge. We are equally delighted to be working with them. Dataiku complements OSS Group's existing offerings - they have already been trained in Dataiku, and we've started to engage together on local opportunities."

In September 2019, Dataiku was named to the Forbes Cloud 100, the definitive ranking of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world.

In February, Dataiku was named a Leader in the Gartner 2020 Magic Quadrant for Data Science and Machine-Learning Platforms.
